April 21, 2016
Virginia Tech Research Center – Arlington
Executive Briefing Center (2nd Floor)
900 N Glebe Rd.
Arlington, VA 22203

This conference aims to bridge gaps in communication and practices for those conducting social equity work. In particular, the conference will focus on the intersection of social equity and race. Participants will hear from leaders from across various disciplines that will address the following key questions:

1) How can we help organizations achieve racial equity outcomes on a larger scale?

2) What are the opportunities for collaborative learning across the various disciplines and industries?

There are many missed opportunities for collaborative learning due to organizations and individuals working in silos. Therefore, the invite for this event will be extended to individuals from the academy, the three sectors (private, public, non-profit), and the various areas of focus (e.g. education, housing, media). This conference will engage everyone and provide the attendees with a chance to share knowledge and gain insight pertaining to emerging policy innovations for advancing racial equity.

Registrations will be accepted through April 8, 2016.  Please follow this link to register: http://www.cpe.vt.edu/rsew/registration.html.
